About Lucid Gypsy

Gilly Mbachu Goldsworthy is a mum to two kids that are supposed to be grown up and mma to a four year old and a new born baby boy. None of that means that I am grown up though! I love writing – travel and quite edgy fiction – and being an OU student for a degree which remains to be seen. What I do best though is counselling; I’ve been privileged to work with many people through big changes.

fixed in wood … maybe with roots like wood, growing like a tree?

  11. Don’t that beat all! Wow. This is enchanting, Gilly.

Okay, don’t laugh: When I first saw this, I saw a carving giving a crude depiction of a family being lifted up (beamed up if you will) into some inter-planetary area. Now that’s saying a lot for me since I firmly believe there is not life on other planets. However, my point is that this is one of those photos that can ignite a whole world of imagination. Why not send it to Rochelle as a possible prompt for Friday Fictioneers?

  13. I like that it takes a moment of thought to figure out what this picture actually is. Fascinating, and very creative. They look like they’re emerging from within the wood.

Very intriguing :-) And yes what you did makes it all the more so.

  15. Oddly, I had commented on this one last night. The comment mysteriously isn’t appearing here.
MMMmmmm … perhaps, the image has done something with it. ~~~ : – O
I had two thoughts on this image.
One is that there is a Mother with her children entering into a special place because tragically they reached their demise through some sort of accident. The second thought was that it is an alien who takes children to the space ship and they, now, become aliens, too. I saw so much in this pix. Odd … isn’t it???? ~~~~ : – O
Definitely, a wordless photo that gives one pause.
    Toodles,
