‘If there’s snowing hanging around
on the ground
mark my words
there’s more to come down’
So said my lovely old man at eight o’ clock this morning. ‘No’ said I, ‘The forecast says it’s getting milder.’
It’s what they’ve always said
you mark my words.’
‘Keep warm dear.’ I hope I see him in the morning, by then the last bits will have washed away from the city paths.

About Lucid Gypsy
Gilly Mbachu Goldsworthy is a mum to two kids that are supposed to be grown up and mma to a four year old and a new born baby boy. None of that means that I am grown up though! I love writing – travel and quite edgy fiction – and being an OU student for a degree which remains to be seen. What I do best though is counselling; I’ve been privileged to work with many people through big changes.
So was he right?
I was right, it’s gone
Or wrong?
I was right
its gone!
I knew you’d be right somehow
It’s a good feeling to be right, Gilly.
