Photo Challenge: Thursdays Windows

It’s time for Sandra’s Thursday Windows once again. This is Cathedral Close in Exeter showing the 16th century Mols Coffee House and to the left is St Martins church, one of the oldest buildings in the city, consecrated a year before the Norman conquest. These windows and all the rest in the area have been around a long time!

About Lucid Gypsy

Gilly Mbachu Goldsworthy is a mum to two kids that are supposed to be grown up and mma to a four year old and a new born baby boy. None of that means that I am grown up though! I love writing – travel and quite edgy fiction – and being an OU student for a degree which remains to be seen. What I do best though is counselling; I’ve been privileged to work with many people through big changes.

These windows looks so warm and homely lit at night.

    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

  2. How beautiful, Gilly! I wonder what the people who built these windows would think if they could see them so brightly illuminated today?

  3. It looks so pretty with just a few windows lit. Lovely ….

  4. The lit windows beckon to visitors. I was on my way but my nose hit my monitor. Geez, I HATE when that happens. Love this picture, Gilly, it’s gorgeous.

  6. There is something beautiful and magical about old buildings and windows. They give us a chance to have a glimpse of the rich, glorious past. Stunning image. Have a great weekend.
