Lady Anne’s Rosemoor

On of my favourite parts of Rosemoor is Lady Anne’s garden. She was the previous owner of Rosemoor, and in 1988 she donated her 8 acre garden and another 32 acres of land to the RHS. For this post I’m choosing some of Septembers loveliest flowers.

So, have you any idea which might be my favourite plant?

If you would like to know what any of the plants are, I remember most of them and I know a blogger who will know the ones I can’t recall!

Gilly Mbachu Goldsworthy is a mum to two kids that are supposed to be grown up and mma to a four year old and a new born baby boy. None of that means that I am grown up though! I love writing – travel and quite edgy fiction – and being an OU student for a degree which remains to be seen. What I do best though is counselling; I’ve been privileged to work with many people through big changes.

Gorgeous flowers. Fabulous photos, Gilly. Not sure which would be your favourite. How could you possibly choose just one from this array!

  3. All of these are fabulously colorful … BUT … I believe the purple one with the bee is your favorite. I have no idea what the name of it is. I love the way the ends are in the shape of little trumpets. Do you think the other flowers can hear it play a tune???? ~~~ : – )

  7. Well, Gilly, I don’t recognize any of them, but I know you love purple, so I’ll guess the next to last one is your favorite! They’re all beautiful, and all such different shapes and colors, and I notice the bees and other bugs love them too – must be a nice healthy garden. ;)
