The Sunday Post: Autumn

Jake has posted some rich autumn colour in his animation for the challenge this week

Here is my entry for autumnBut I don’t think that summer is over yet

There are plenty more of these guys for a start!

About Lucid Gypsy

Gilly Mbachu Goldsworthy is a mum to two kids that are supposed to be grown up and mma to a four year old and a new born baby boy. None of that means that I am grown up though! I love writing – travel and quite edgy fiction – and being an OU student for a degree which remains to be seen. What I do best though is counselling; I’ve been privileged to work with many people through big changes.

Love your ‘not quite ‘autumn’ shots :-)

  11. This is interesting, Gilly. Are these edible? I don’t know what they are/ I know an artist that makes artwork from gourds. I wonder if there are different types. I love the close-up photo. It’s fabulous …!!!

  12. They look enormous! How big are they really – as big as a fist, as big as a head, as big as a watermelon?

    And the photos are beautiful!

  13. Fergiemoto says:

    Awesome!
Autumn starts this coming weekend for us.

  14. Refreshing and bright, truly a heart’s delight. That kind of rhyme, huh? In Houston though mornings are color, Summer is still everywhere and I was hoping to see some Autumn leave changes soon.

  15. restlessjo says:

Gorgeous shot, Gilly. I’m not letting go yet, either.

  16. Beautiful photo, but more than that I love your tenacity–hang on to summer as long as you can! I do too, but when I let go, I find myself leaning into autumn with pleasure.

I would love to hear from you . . .
