It’s just a row of kites that were ‘parked’ in slots beside the beach at the end of a kite festival

There is an annual kite festival in May, these were ‘parked’ by the beach.
But they look enormous! What a thrilling spectacle it must be in the winds of Spring…

That is an amazing phot. I can ALMOST tell what they are really.
But not quite.
Therefore I’ll go on thinking of them as big colorful birds.
